Young BeekeeperThe Inland Empire Beekeeping Association (IEBA) is a non-profit group for the purpose of educating and offering a forum to both hobbiests and professional beekeepers in the area surrounding Spokane, Washington and Northern Idaho. The IEBA, one of the first in Washington state started circa 1936. The association has served beekeepers in the Northwest for over 65 years and two of the original members are still active in the organization!

The IEBA meets the 2nd Friday of every month at the Spokane County Ag Extension Office by the County Fairgrounds, at 222 N. Havana. The executive board meets at 6:30-7:00, followed by a social hour till 7:30 when the general business meeting starts. The business meeting ends at 8:30 and is followed by a monthly Program hour. The association is affiliated with the Washington State Beekeepers Association, WASBA.

Membership dues are $5.00 for an individual or $10.00 for the entire family. This includes your receiving the Inland Beemail which is published by the association!

Joining the IEBA

Have we piqued your interest yet?  Joining the IEBA is as easy as showing up at the next meeting (the 2nd Friday of every month except September).  We welcome all beekeepers and look forward to your company and participation
